Sylvamo, Nymölla Bruk is now looking for an engaged and driven Mechanical Supervisor for the process side who wants to be part of future investments.

About the role

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead and be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance efforts for the pulp mill's mechanical workshop. You will be responsible for a team of about 20 employees.

You will coordinate and carry out maintenance work with the help of both internal staff and subcontractors. The role involves developing and proposing improvements in work methods and organization within the department, focusing on planned maintenance and steering operations according to set goals and key performance indicators.

The role involves daytime work with on-call duty every 10th week after training.

As a supervisor, you have full personnel responsibility and report to the Mechanical Manager.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with several years of professional experience in maintenance operations and a leadership position within the process industry or manufacturing. You have a technical high school education and a burning interest in technology. Leadership training is a plus.

For the role, good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form are required. To be successful as a supervisor with us, you need to have a great ability to prioritize, coordinate, and inspire! As a leader, you are confident, clear, and communicative.

Sylvamo Nymölla Bruk, located in Bromölla municipality, twenty kilometers east of Kristianstad, has been operational since the 1960s. We manufacture pulp using the magnefit method and uncoated fine paper. With a production capacity of 340,000 tons of pulp and 475,000 tons of fine paper, we employ a total of 540 employees across our two factories - the pulp mill (process) and the paper mill (manufacturing). Since 2023, we are part of an American ownership structure.
